Here at mailingbag.com, we strongly believe in British manufacturing, that’s why we aim to manufacture all our products at our factory in the West Midlands and anything we can’t manufacture is mainly sourced from another British manufacturer.

At our factory we run 7 extrusion lines, which manufacturer polythene tubing and sheeting starting from 2″ (51mm) to up to 79″ (2000mm), which covers our complete stock range. We are able to extrude from 60 Gauge (15 Micron) up to 1200 Gauge (300 Micron), meaning we can cater for a huge range of bespoke packaging. We are able to extrude polythene in any desired colour and in various opacity levels to provide you with the perfect product. Our extrusion department run 24 hours a day to commercially keep costs low, hence why we are able to offer such competitive product, and also the extrudes produce better quality film when they are run continually.

With regards to bag production, we have 12 bags machines which include 4 bottom weld machines, 7 side weld machines and a wicketting machine. by having a range of different bags machines, it enable us to offer a large portfolio of bags i.e. bottom weld, side weld, skirt side weld, wicketted bags and mailing bags. Bottom Weld Bags

Minimum Bag Width: 1″ (25mm)
Maximum Bag Width: 52″ (1320mm)
Minimum Bag Length: 3″ (76mm)
Maximum Bag Length: 100″ (2540mm)
Minimum Bag Thickness: 60 Gauge (15 Micron)
Maximum Bag Thickness: 1000 Gauge (250 Micron)

Side Weld Bags

Minimum Bag Width: 2.5″ (64mm)
Maximum Bag Width: 50″ (1016mm)
Minimum Bag Length: 3″ (76mm)
Maximum Bag Length: 48″ (1220mm)
Minimum Bag Thickness: 60 Gauge (15 Micron)
Maximum Bag Thickness: 600 Gauge (150 Micron)

We have the manufacturing capabilities to print in up to 8 colours on one or two sides of the bag dependent on size, to ensure your company branding is at the forefront of your packaging, with a design department to ensure your branding looks the best it possibly could
